Please someone help me!
I have just bought the nokia 5610 Xpress Music Phone and I am having problems already. The memory card that came with the phone is not being recognised/detected when it is in my phone. I've tried everything I can think of. Please help! I seriously don't know what to do!

if any of your friends are having same type memory card just try using that and check if the phone recognises then then your memory card is faulty and if not check for any physical damage to your own memory card.if still ur phone does not recognise then something wrong with your phone.you can ask for a replacement.

this is a known issue and requires a new back cover which can be obtained at a care point free of charge.

Try sending your phone to the Nokia Care Center - it might just need a software reflash - or much be worse that it would might need a new back panel cover.

I solved the problem myself. All I did was put the back cover on and it recognised the memory card. I don't know why it did this because I didn't press anything different. It must have been there wasn't enough pressure on the memory card so there musn't have been a connection between the phone and memory card.

Hi I have same problem. Please let me know what is the blackcover? What should I do with the back cover? Please Please help me on this.

this is because the phone back cover is not close properly therefore it cant press down a tiny metal piece which allows the phone to read the memory card this is usuall caused by the expand of battery or the cover is not close properly

You can use your rear cover but you need gently pull up the golden pin which is near the camera (check the attached photo).
