Nokia 5610 XM startup problem

Almost every time when I power on the phone it's blocked until music player finish updating library.Is there any way to forbid updating library on startup.

No. That's how the way it should work. Anyway, updating the music player itself just takes a while - unlike on 5300's music player that almost takes minutes to load.

yep as nj15 stated, this is exactly how 5610XM works, however with newest software update (v8.30) the phone can play music from the memory card, although this is done through the memory card file explorer and not the Music Player application. playback can be sluggish though, so would recommend waiting for the music library to update first

Ya I too facing same problem,,... I feel thats its waste model..

sorry sridharkumarch, but let me stress that it is not a problem as such, not a technical fault at all. this process where it takes a while to update the number of files on a memory card applies to all mobile phones, as well as mp3 players using memory cards. i have had a Sandisk e200 with a microSD card and same thing happened, took a while to refresh the library. i then purchased an iRiver x20 a year later and same thing happened again. it is the way these processes are designed to operate unfortunately.
