I just bought a Nokia 5310 yesterday(my first phone), and it works great, but when I use earphones to listen to music, they don't go in all the way,you can press down on the jack and it'll go in a bit(and turning the earphone jack,or even touching it stops the sound), and the main problem is that sound only comes out of the left earphone..it should be both.

I tested the ear phones on my laptop, and they work fine. I then tried an older pair I had, and they had the problem only on the phone.

Can anyone help?

take your phone to a Nokia Care Centre to get it looked at, seems like a manufacturing defect as if you have only just bought it, it shouldn't be like that at all

Thanks alot. I'll do that, and post the results when I get back just in case anyone else has the same problem.
