On my 5130 xpress music the battery shows full all the time.Still when there's no power in the battery the phone shuts down(even if the battery had shown full).I can't realise when to charge the battery because i have no clue when it's empty, besides the fact the that the phone shuts down. How can i make the battery meter from the top of the display work?

The next time the phone shuts down, leave the battery out for some time, then put it back it in and give it a full charge by plugging it for 2-3 hours continuously. Then use the phone till the battery is empty again. If possible repeat this a couple of times. Avoid charging the phone when the battery is not drained out.

If it doesn't help, take it to a Nokia Care center and get the unit inspected. I assume it's under warranty.
