My wife and I each get a new nokia 2760 a couple months ago.
Both phones will power off for no apparent reason. I usually found out it is powered off after I miss an important alarm or an appointment. I dare not to use the phone's alarm any more.
It occurs to my phone about once or twice per week. It occurs to my wife phone twice so far.
I am pretty sure it is not an out-of-battery issue. The battery is always fully charged when I turned it back on. I found it power of this morning and it was charged last night.
I called Nokia support today but she is of no help. She asked me to power off the phone, take out the battery, wait 30 seconds and reinstall the battery. I have done this numerous times already.
Does someone have a clue?

Try taking the battery out and leaving it out for at least 5 minutes. Unfortunately the 2760 is a very basic phone and there is very little you can do to it yourself apart from removing the battery. If the above doesn't work, I recommend taking the phones to your local Nokia Care Point to see if there is anything they can do there.

Hi,
I am making a wild guess here...Try turning off the auto update option in your mobile's time settings and see if it helps..
