Hello,

I proudly own the nice 2330 classic. The only point, which I am really unhappy with, is that the display always becomes  black after a few seconds. One can even not see if the phone is on or off. 

Does somebody now if it is a fault? I did not find any option in the settings for it. Is a newer software release available, which fixes it?

When you press the Red key, does the screen light-up?  If yes, then the phone probably just went into power saving mode, hence blanking the screen and turning off the backlight.

You could try playing with the settings for this under the Display Settings in the menu to find out what works for you.  Usual settings include Power Saver mode, Screensaver, Backlight, Sleep mode.

thanks for the anwser. Yes the screens comes back when pressing the red button. However I did not find any possibility in the settings. And sorry, I just saw the typo in the subject line: It is a 2730 classic.

Any further ideas?

It is a 2330, checked it when I came home. Went through every option in setup, nothing.

Any idea, where it can be configured?

so there is no way to prevent it being off after some seconds.....?  is there any way to increase the time before it went off....?
