Hi There,

Can somebody please help me with this problem!

The is this is a new Nokia 1600 phone.

When someone texts me there's no name id displayed
so I don't know who the text is from, only the number
is displayed ,but it displays ok on just in coming calls.
I have gone through the manual several times but no luck!

Check your message center number.If okay reset the phone to factory settings > 12345
My latest addition Nokia 701
SW version 112.010.1404 FP 1

Got number and it checked ok so reset phone to default factory and its still the same

Phone fixed by taking off the zero in front of all the numbers
in the directory and adding +44 then it displays ID
on texting incoming calls!
