Hi all,
I have a Nokia 6500 classic and can say its not a bad mid-range phone but i have been having the following problem:
whenever i am on a call, or sometimes just browsing the phone, the network signal ( which is the usual full 4 bars at where i live/work) just restarts, not the phone just the network: i.e the network signal status goes from full-to zero-to full again and it generally all happens within 2 seconds but whenever it does happen and i happen to be on a call the call gets terminated (because of the loss of the network).
sometimes it doesn't happen but i'd say its 50/50, i just get really p**sed off when i cant have a breakless conversation with the other person.
I was wandering if anyone else has/had experienced the same problem.
Ihad this problem initally and then got a replacement phone from my service provider buti'm having the same problem, furthermore, with my nokia 6500 (oh man i miss that baby) i had the same problem but after a while it kind of went away.
My guess is that its not the phone itself but something to do with my sim card, but i'm reluctant to contact my service provider and then dish out £25 for a replacement sim card.
anyone else experienced any similar problems or does anyone have a solution?
please note that im not having the 'phone restart' probmlem but the 'strange network restart' problem.
cheers
