Re: Help with my 5310 XM

You cannot! i've tried myself as well and the handset does not allow me to do it. Mine is a S60 Series. I managed to do it but the only way that i found is to swap over cards between handsets.

TinyApps had to give it a shot - and hey they broke the myth!

STMBlueS is used to manage files from one mobile device to another over Bluetooth. It lets you explore folders and exchange files just like managing files fom PC to mobile!

Check it out here:

http://www.getjar.com/products/8042/STMBlueS

Demo version can download up to 20 kb files and shows warning message for 30 sec.

May not work for all bluetooth equipped phone, so no guarantees. Just check the comments section for further insights.

Cheers :smileyhappy:

Also this one from Medival:

Bluetooth File Transfer OBEX FTP v0.96

Description:
Use your cell phone to manage files of any OBEX ready device that support File Transfer Profile (FTP), almost on all models today, with a Bluetooth connection. Download, upload, explore, edit, create, delete and rename files and folders on your phone, PDA, palm, notebook, PC, photo viewer, music player and so on; using an easy, fast and intuitive user-interface (GUI). Transfer or delete many files and entire folders at once, with a single keypress, using the multiple selection feature. Explore hidden files, or make your personal data private and/or read-only, using the attributes editor (local filesystem only). Save your favorite devices in the bookmark list, to speed-up the connection procedure. Require: MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.1.

Be informed that the link I provided for the STMBlues is just a demo software. You'll be needing to purchase the full version to unlock the full potential of it.

There is nothing wrong with your phone, I guess. It's just probably the phone OS(S40) is not intended or designed to send off jar files over bluetooth.
