Hi!!

I've got the Nokia 2720 fold.

I was checking the phone and defused the radio. To my surprise the 2720 doesn't let me to activate the radio again...

In the displayed options there's not the activate one.

How could I activate the raido again?

It's me once more.

I've resetted the mobile to its original configuration but the option to reactivate the radio doesn't appear anywhere 

Any help will be greatly apreciated.

I think you need to have first a headset connected with your phone. That's not a mere solution, but you can try that. Nothing to loose!!!

Yeah, its necessary to use a headset and I do use it. The phone radio was working fine but i made the mistake of deactivating the radio (I had thought there would be an ACTIVATE option but there is NOT). The phone only has the DEACTIVATING option...

How exactly did you manage to deactivate your radio? I didn't even think that was possible

I did it like this: Multimedia-->--Radio-->Options-->Deactivate. I thought I'd be able to activate it again.

In Radio-->Options there is only one option: DEACTIVATE. Why is not the option ACTIVATE?

Some times I see on screen the message "radio deactivated".

That's weird, I have never seen such an option. I don't even understand why it's there.

It makes absolutely no sense to me

I just had a look at the user guide  and couldn't find anything about deactivating the radio.

Have a look at it and see if you can't find it

 I have the Noki 2720 fold.....only 2 weeks old....my radio has stopped working......when I click media and go to "radio"..   click.....nothing happens....even with headphones attached..............it seem as if the radio button is "deactivated"....but I don't know how...or...why...Any solutions out there......?

You're right, the user manual doesn't mention the "deactivate" option. I think the manual doesn't mention many things. The "activate" option IS on the phone. Have a look at it if you can.

I took my phone to the shop and as the shop assistant was able to make my radio work I thought it was magic. I I had tried hard to make it work and the shop assistant did it at the moment...I don't know what she did because there is not an "activate" option.

I've seen in this thread that there is another guy having a similar problem with the radio. I don't know what to tell him to do but going to the shop. May be they have magic too. I just hope not having to go to the shop every week.

Thank you for your reply......re ...radio on my 2720.....I have found a solution to MY problem....I looked at the charger bar....it was showing 2 bars.......i put phone on charge overnight...tried radio this morning...still not activating...BUT.....I took battery out....waited 10 seconds........put it back in ..    and clicked on "radio" it worked..(I did not have to go to any other areas on phone to reactivate)..all I had to do then was attach headset and listen..!..so..it seems that u really need a full charge to work radio.... and perhaps .. recharge  when bars show 3....?....purely as a comment on 2720....it would not be my 1st choice of phone..now

I suspect that it's more likely that removing the battery reset something in the software... If ever anything odd happens, turning off and removing the battery for a minute before re-starting is a good first move. Remember that your mobile phone is a mini-computer, and the Nokia operating system is no more bug-free than any other operating system!

I too have tried all of the above and still no radio. It appears on the menu, but nothing when I click on it-- there is no options button to click on to activate or anything. I have the had the headphones plugged in, restarted, removed battery etc etc.
