Hi can anyone solve my problem, i bought a new nokia 6300. As it is the new model, all my frens want to look all the features of my mobile. They are viewing my personal messages too. i dont want them to view my messages. Is there anyway to restrict access to my messages by keeping a password or something....... anything............

Sorry this isn't supported on your phone model. But you can use a third party app, which supports encrypted messaging, but you'll have to always send the messages from that app and allow permission for that app to start when notified in order to receive messages. But I don't think this would be a pleasant experience.

The answer is no, you can't.

You can place a password on the memory card which will be requested if you put the card into a different device, or you can set the phone's automatic keyguard and security keyguard which together will make the phone demand the security code when the phone is first used after a period of standing idle.
