Any options for 6600 Slide problems?

Hi,

I've just got a 6600 Slide and I like it fine enough, except that it doesn't ring loud enough with the volume set highest and the vibration mode doesn't seem strong enough, especially for receiving text messages.

The point of a mobile phone is to NOT miss out on calls and messages. When the thing vibrates, I want to be able to feel it.

Is there anything I can do, or is it just a case of returning it and getting something of higher quality? What could have they been thinking when they decided to build it that way? Could such a flaw be by design?

Try to reset the phone to factory defaults, code 12345

Make sure the profile settings are set right and try again. If this doesnt work return phone to supplier.
