I have just upgraded to a 6300 and it came with a 128MB microSD card.
I have bought a 2GB microSD card to give me more capacity for music etc.
How can I transfer the Nokia supplied content (games and other stuff) across to the new card so that it is still accessible?
I've tried bouncing the data/content off a Vista laptop and an XP PC, but the .jar files in the 'predef...' folders are 'locked'.
Has anyone else come across this problem and resolved it?

I am in the same boat and have just replaced the memory card with a 2gb one. I also cant get the various things to copy over. I have re-downloaded the various themes but my phone will not let me use them - I get the 'Apply' option but nothing happens when I press it. I presume there was the operating programme on the original memory card that wont copy over. Can anyone give any advice please?

I tried this and it worked, but a little bit tedious...

I moved the stuff in the old card to the phone memory. It is allowed. But you cant move all of them as the phone meory is very small. Move some of the files. Remove the old memory card. Put the new memory card and move them back to it. Now again remove the new memory card and put back the old memory card and repeat the same until you transfer all the files to the new memory card.

It should work.

Thanks for that engshiraj. I did that too, after my local Vodafone suggested it. Tedious, as you say - but it worked.

Hello, can't you just back up your mobile and all its files even those on the mem card using Nokia PC Suite, and then restore to your new mem card. or am I missing something ?, I've just got an 8GB card for my mobile to expand its mem capacity, will this not work ?.
