Hi, does anybody know how to make the backlight stay on for more than 5 seconds....it is very annoying when you are trying to read a txt or look at something and the light keeps going off.....please help me

I do not know much about the features of the 6280 since it is a Series 40 phone but in Series 60 phones, you can change the light time-out of the phone in the Display settings. I presume there are no other ways you can change the light settings in 6280 so the best way is to stick to it. Try to search for the manual of the 6280 to see if their are settings to change this. What is weird in your case is that it only lasts for 5 seconds in your phone. From what I know is that for most phones, the backlight stays for at least 10-15 seconds before dimming off.
