i ve tried installing apps for my phone but it says too big for anything above 1.5 mb..

is this limitation supposed to exist?

why?

any way can i subvert it<

check your phones memory,delete anything thats unwanted or move files to memory card.this will free up the phones memory to accept larger files.

its got 300mb free and the app is 4 mb..

is it a problem wit my mob then?

the phone has 30 mb user memory this is for random access, try deleting unwanted files, text, etc and move items to card or you can try using data cable and nokia pc suite.what are you trying to install and is it compatible with the phone,if none of above works back up data and factory restore phone.
