Hello, when i press *#92702689# for 3110c, 6300 phones i can't find out the Life timer as other models. Is it normal ? If it was, why is this info disabled ?

Undocumented codes does not works on all models, just as the formatting/reset codes which is only for S60 series. The only codes that I know of, that works for all models are *#0000# to find the software version & *#06# to get IMEI number.

When I use the code as I posted, I get some infos : serial no, manufacture date, purchasing date, ... But no Life timer. So difficultly to know the past.

The life timer is not a reliable indication of a phones past as it can be tampered with.

I see. But it could not be cleared by user so I think it is more exact than the call log.

It can be cleared by dodgy retailers so it cannot be relied upon.

Unfortunately there is no way to make it show on your phones if they won't respond to that code.

If you are unhappy about this fact use the "contact us" link near the top of the page to complain to nokia.

Its a posibility with those unscrupulous business man with sophisticated equipment. The best move is to buy only to a reliable & authorized dealers. They won't gamble their reputation just to earn a few bucks.

I bought my nokia 3110c phone yesterday and i tryied to check its life time with this code *#92702689# but it is not displyaing the life timer. Is there any other way to check that!
