3109 (6300) car kit / bluetooth ...

Hi,

It appears that bluetooth has become the dominant factor and that is causing me a slight problem.

When the 6310 was raining suprime I could have it paired with a bluetooth headset but when I connect it a car kit then all voice was directed via the car kit. Also while in the car kit the keypad and display where light.

We have moved to the 3109 and lost all this capability. In addition, all new car kits have opted for a bluetooth connection and switching between two different receivers is a complex process. The reason that this is a problem is because I have 2800 mobile engineer users who :
- when in the car need to use the car kit
- when outside the vehicle need to use a bluetooth headset.

Thinking of moving to a 6300 but I am not certain if this problem is still going to persist.

Is it possible to write a Symbian application to force the change when it detects that the phone is docked?

Thanks

Nick
