Nokia store is out of beta and out as an update the new version being 3.20.050.It is supposed to prompt for update as soon as you open your store client. But my C6-01 is not yet getting this update. Anybody else received the update?Please dont suggest installing it from beta labs or any other external link.

Just wondered why you are so vehemently opposed to using updated v3.20.050 from Nokia Beta Labs which now matches that being pushed out via updates.

Installing store from external links or beta labs will have two store apps in my application manager>installed apps list, of Which I cant remove older Ovi store.With the update prompt I just hope that the existing client will be replaced by the new Nokia store client.
Besides, store or maps should be available as updates not as optional downloads.

Uninstall Ovi Store installer manually (from app. manager) and install Nokia Store QML client from Nokia Beta labs. That's what I did and everything works perfectly.

I had tried that before but it wont allow me delete my old Ovi store. Nokia store installs and in fact it will run. But Ovi store stays in phone memory consuming around 3MB of precious phone memory. Trying to uninstall it will give a message "removing cancelled".

Exactly! That why I am waiting for the update and not installing via beta labs. Because installing it from beta labs does not remove existing store, nor it can be removed manually.

I still have version 3.018.036... possibly i installed it via betalabs a while back. But I am not receiving an automatic update either and I wish to update my store to the newest version.

Then when I check my apps manager I see 4 items in the list that involve nokia store:

- storeinstaller

- Ovi Store

- nokiastoreclient

- Nokia Store installer

Now which one should I remove/uninstall in order to receive the automatic update?

I want to have it through the official channel so that I'll receive auto updates in the future again.

You wont be able delete Ovi store while you can delete other items. You will get back to your old Ovi store 2.12.42.

And I guess there must be one more item named ope service or something like that. You can also delete it.

Sorry to disappoint but I still have Ovi store listed under installed apps as well as Nokia store after visiting Ovi store & downloading the offered update at that time, it appears Nokia store is seen as a separate application to Ovi store so doesn't overwrite it. As it hasn't as yet been offered via Nokia store I updated to the latest Nokia store via betalabs.

@doctor9fan- Seems I missed something. Did you get the update prompt for new Nokia store or did you download it from beta labs? If you got it from beta labs or any external links, you will have two separate apps meaning Ovi store And Nokia store. Thats why I am not downloading it from beta labs and waiting for official prompt.
