Re: Re-download software bought from Ovi Store

I have been in touch with Nokia who have provided me with a solution that has worked for me!

Log onto Nokia Ovi Store using your mobile and go to My Stuff. I found all the software that I had previously downloaded listed. Ovi Store confirmed that each was no longer on my mobile. I than had the option to re-downlolad each in turn. This I did without a hitch!

I hope this is helpful to other users.

Is it Christmas already or April Fools Day? Doesn't sounds like reality but I bet they are doing what they can to satisfy customers and sometimes they get lucky.

Re: Re-download software bought from Ovi Store

I found that software installed from .sis files are backed up by OVI Suite.

But not software installed from OVI Store.

So the safe way seems to be to dowbload the .sis files to your PC.

And then copy them to your phone to install them.

Then you have both a copy of the .sis file on your PC.

And OVI Suite will backup the program on the phone (since it is not from OVi Store :-)
