Has anyone have trouble using ovi sync?

I keep getting  service activation failed?

Yep, I am facing same problem here, Nokia C6-01 after install Symbian Anna

Basically the same here, N8 after Anna upgrade.

Thought it was just me. Guess it's widespread. Got Anna on C7 and now can't do Ovi sync.

hey guys i did  it

in the menu 

connectivity

synchronization ( no ovi sync)

move to ovi whit the arrow in the right  corner

select options edit profile and change the version of service 

and leave in 1.1

i did it in e7 in Spanish i don't know the exactly name of the options in English

I've got an E7, no Anna update for usa model yet.

I tried the 1.1 vs 1.2 server version, but still no success.

finally found time to call Nokia's toll free support.  Created a new ovi sync server profile, no luck as well.  (took almost 2 hours).

I don't thinkthe  sync problem has to do with my device updating, becasue my device has not updated yet.

Has anybody else been able to get it to work yet?

my nokia 5230 is still able to update.

I don't have Ovi menu, just Maps and PC Suite profiles...

i tried going back to pr 1.2 on my n8 and still no ovi sync...i even did the server to 1.1, but all i have iin the tabs menu are pc suites ....anybody knlw the manual settings for ovi sync? the n8 doesn't let you edit Ovi Sync settings

ok i figured out how to sync...just got it working...

go to ovi.com and delete your device and add Nokia N97

2) add in your phone number to get sms settings, if you don't get a sms, click on the manual link settings to view the settings

3) type in the pin and follow the directions...ypu will get a new tab called ovi.com, click option Sync

It worked fine in C6-01, partially, but worked anyway
I can sync now from Settings>Data Transfer>Sync. But Ovi Sync is still down...
