Right now I'm going through Nokia's support nightmare with at least 8 messages from them each asking for a little more information. I thought I had finally reached the end of my troubles when they told me that I would receive an SMS link and then again when they asked me to fill up an Excel sheet but still no go.
This is the second unfortunate experience I'm having with the ovi store. When they know that so many people are having problems why is it so difficult to just let me get my application?

So now I finally got Peggle from the Ovi people but they sent me Peggle for the 6300 instead the 5800. Not touch and tiny screen. I'd hoped to get it before my traveling but I guess that didn't work out.

Dears,
I am using a Nokia E51. My problem is that i am unable to download any software from OVI store. Every time I press the Download button it takes me to the login page, I enter the username and password and when hit the login button, it takes me back to the original download page and still am not logged in. Even if I try to login initially same happens. Also on the login page(the page on which username and password is entered), it shows my username at the bottom of page with the signout option enabled, though I am on the login page and not logged in.
Kindly advice me in this regard.

Hi,
This morning I purchased Farm Frenzy for my Nokia 5800 xm. When I try to download it it gets to 100% and then says, unable to install. I have had a reciept email for my purchase but am still unable to use the game. I have tried to contact the supprt team by email but it keeps asking me for a topic subject but no drop down box is visible.
I'm getting really frustrated and am rally dissappointed by the ovi experience.
Also I am having the login and password error messages, I found the only way to get rid of it is to keep changing my password (a right pain!).
HELP someone please x

I too have had problems with Farm Frenzy. I had the ite version (demo) and tried to download the full version. I paid the fee but the game failed to install i tried a number of times and each time it failed to install. Since then i have been told i need to uninstall the lite version in order for the full version to work but when i try to download it again it tries to charge me the fee again. Any help would be appreciated...i have emailed the support people twice over 4 days but have had no reply. My phone is a 5800.

Hi, I've had a problem with Ovi Store.
Purchased Gravity (Twitter app).. Said 'Download Failed' repeatedly, logged out & in again and it want me to buy it again.. I have the payment receipt if that helps, but really there should be some sort of account log of bought apps surely ?
Anyways, Phone is N86 8MP if that helps, and all the free / trial apps I've tried have worked fine, this is my first go at buying an app and it failed.. and its £8, not a cheap app, but not a lot of money either.. but enough to make me not want to buy it again...
I'm happy to provide any other details..
Or do I just mess about trying to phone customer care etc.. if so, its not really worth my time, and I wont be using the paid service again.
Thanks in advance.

I had the same problems and in my case I had two accounts set up on here but with the same email address (don't ask me how) so firstly make sure that your phone log-in is the same as the web one, maybe even request that your password is sent to your email address to make sure that you are logging in with the same account details.
Secondly, turn your phone off, and then back on, and try again to download something, it could be that something you are running in the background is inteferring with what you are trying to do (this has happend to me).
Make sure you have enough internal memory, Open up File Manager and see how much space there is on C: Phone Memory remaining. if it is very low then maybe uninstall anything that you don't use which is installed there and re-install it on the Mass Memory.
if none of this helps then maybe read through the other 11 pages of posts here and try their suggestions.....

Hi,
I am using an e71x, and have been having some serious trouble with the ovi store. I am currently unable to download any application because when i go to ovi store on the browser, it tells me to download the ovi store application. I have downloaded and then reinstalled this several times but it is nowhere to be found on my device and can therefore not access it. Is there anyway to download these apps or access ovi store any other way? I would really like to download some of the latest apps that are out to help me out.

I am new to this forum and I just got my Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition (US version) and it is barely a week old. The phone's software version is 31.2.101 and custom version is 31.2.101.465.02. I have been able to use the OVI store link/icon for the past four days and have so far download a couple of free apps. Now today, when I tried to access the OVI store again, I am getting the "Script Alert: Application Initialisation Error" message. Has anyone in this forum discussion thread been able to get any firm answer on how to fix it? I tried contacting the NOKIA Technical Support line and I was just told that my issue has been submitted to Level 2 support and I will get a call from them within 48 hours. Very lame I should say.
Anyway, thanks a lot in advance for your input.

I am also in the same boat as most people.
I sent the request to Nokia, they suggest me to delete the certificate in the phone and save the new certificate once again. I tried that but still no good. Perhaps you can try to see if you have different result.
Thank you for contacting Nokia Careline.

Hi, I hope you can help me.
Ovi Store is spamming me with SMS messages every 2 hours for the past 2 days and it's really annoying. All of the messages say that my username is sharing this application called Fring with me and gives me a download link. Could you please help me? I can't take this spamming anymore! I even terminated the account, but the messages are still comming...

Hello
I have nokia N70 Music Edition.
I just donloaded nokia's latest pc suite of this device and also the nokia software updater.
I installed both.
When i connect my device to my pc and start nokia pc suite, i see that instead of nokia music manager now oviplayer is there. i opened it. i tried transferring music from my pc to my device. How do i do it?
I can't find an option which will help me do it. There is one option which says i need to reconnect my cellphone and on select the media player mode. But there is nothing that comes up either on the cellphone screen or pc screen which will allow me to select it. How do i then transfer music?
