OVI Mail outbound mail preferences

How do you set it to send out just plain text and not multipart/alternative? There's only a rich text editor as far as I can see, so what am I doing wrong?

Nothing, as far as I can see. There is no option I can find to do so. Sorry.

Re: OVI Mail outbound mail preferences

There ought to be.

Yet another oversight (the absence of the contacts from OVI Sync in the Mail address book is another).

OK, it's not as if it's costing a lot of money and you get what you pay for. At least I can use a normal mail client with IMAP4 and send properly formatted e-mails that way.

Re: OVI Mail outbound mail preferences

I've found a solution.

If you switch to the low bandwidth version of OVI Mail, you get an interface to compose a mail in plain text only.

Re: OVI Mail outbound mail preferences

Well done.

I actually looked at that low bandwidth option, and it flashed through my mind that it might do the job, but I dismissed it.  I thought it was more an "incoming" rather than "outgoing" setting.

Good spot my friend.
