Have tried to get my Nokia E60 working with www.ovi.com and synchronize my Contacts from my phone to the server (one way only for now).

Did Add My Device successfully on the ovi.com site but never received the SMS with the settings required for the profile (tried multiple times after Deleting and Adding the device again). Did receive an SMS from Nokia to verify my cell phone number on the site. My operator is Rogers in Canada and I do receive other SMS messages successfully all the time.

Used the following thread to get the settings and have checked them more than once to ensure that I have entered them correctly:

/discussions/board/message?board.id=ovi&thread.id=100

Problem is that I get an "Invalid Username or Password" message every time I connect (using WiFi) from my Nokia E60. Not sure if its relevant but am using teh latest firmware available for the E60 which is:

3.0633.09.04

Is there another format for the Username and Password that have to be entered into the settings? I have used the same format and values as what I use with my PC, browser and the www.ovi.com site.

As I know the password that is used in this sync profile is not the same we use to log in on Ovi web page. It is generated in some way so You cannot enter it by yourself. Only way to make it work is to get SMS from Ovi but I think they have problems sending configuration messages to same GSM operators. You have to try to put SIM card from diferent operator and add Your device to Ovi once again.
Using Polish operator 'Plus GSM' I never got SMS with sync profile but I borrowed SIM card from my friend who uses Orange, put it in my phone and then run 'add device' wizard once again - configuration SMS was on my phone in less then minute. Now it works fine.

You can always go to Goosync.com they have the same service, free for calendar and they charge a little for tasks and contacts, but the good part, IT WORKS not like Ovi, they have SMS configuration and Manual Config.
