Hey guys plz help me too. Whenever i try to download software from Nokia OVI store it says 'Certificate not on phone or SIM' so i've downloaded authority certificate from http://gcalsync.mobi/ca and from http://www.verisign.com/cgi-bin/support/rootcert/getrootcert.cer. From these sites i just got Class 3 public primary certificate and i'm facing this problem still now. My phone framware is - Nokia 5300. v 05.51 05-09-07 RM- 146. Plz somebody help me

Not aware of the 100% solution and never faced such problem too.. but try updating / re-installing the firmware..

try a reset type in *#7780# security code is 12345
no data will be lost with this reset

what are you trying to download does it contain a JAD file?

It happens when u delete the security certificates from the security settings of ur Phone or get ur Phone formatted via the 6 golden pins on the back of the Phone seen after removing the battery. Formatting with *#7780# doesn't work & the problem will persist whether u download a .jar or .jad file or for that matter any signed software eg opera mini. The link below gives a solution to this problem but it seems that it doesn't work now. If it works pls post on the forum. My advice- don't get ur Phone upgraded/formatted via those 6 pins.

i have the nokia 7510 supernova granted its  not the best but i can still text my girlfriend but i try to play games on my phone and i get the certificate not on phone or sim message so i deleted my old games and tried to download new games and got the same message i had originaly thought that it was corrupt games and i need help getting the certificates for my phone i have always bought nokias but have been having nothing but troubles with them i had the nokia 6301 and that went downhill fast and now this i would like to fix this certificate problem so i can entertain myself when i'm bored on the go my game demos don't even work and i've tried downloading them from the link that was provided and the files won't be recognised please help with this issue if not oh well i can still talk and text and i'll just waut for the issued army phones but if someone could help it would be depply Appreciated thank you

This means that u hav formatted ur phone, try updating ur phone software using nokia software updater.
This is the only solution i knw 4 this problem!
