uninstalling application in N97

I cannot uninstall some java applications from N97 such as Find me.

If you can't uninstall  it from installed applications or from the applications folder, then a soft reset should remove, but it will involve a lot of work, and if you aren't desperate I would avoid it !

you will back to all application what you have on a fresh, brand new phone. There is some.. OK there is a lot application what you will not use and you can't remove. But what ever you have install after reset will be lost

In the application folder (where you open all your apps) select Options >Organise, tap the application you want to remove then Options> delete.

In Settings>Application mngr.<Installed apps, select app you want to remove, tap and select Options remove/uninstall.

To reset, backup contacts , calendar and notes ONLY , then dial *#7370# followed by 12345, and phone will resort to New, and you will have to det it up manually.
