I bought nokia n8 few days ago,

i noticed that I supposed to get CA-179 cable, but I received CA-101D

I look in nokia website, it doesnt have N8 in compatibility list for CA-101D

it does work btw, but will I get any problem using CA-101D cable??

You won't get any problems. It's a standard USB cable.

Any USB cable will charge N8.

I have a C7-00 that comes with a CA-101D - works fine.  My wife has a N8 that comes with a CA-179. Both work on each mobile but the CA-179 is much longer, the CA-101D is only about 6 inches, whereas the CA-179 is about 18 inches.
