Hiya guys, I have a n96 and have has for bout 6 and a half months. All of a sudden the screen went black and not all the buttons lit up, so I just took the batterry out and put t back and it was working fine.. This happened three times that day, but after this it just viabrated as I turned it on and the little White light come on bout nothing else?? I just checked and it seems to turn on but none of the options on the home screen are there?? It flickers from the home screen to menu by itself and does not allow me to go into text , I am worried about it, and would appretiate greatly any ideas and reply , please be honest if it is dead ??

Hi,

You can try the 3 key reset.

Switch off the phone. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (Call answer key), * button, and '3' button. While holding these buttons, power  on the phone. Release when the phone shows the Nokia hands Logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen. If this doesn't work, then you should visit the nearest Nokia Care Point.
