nokia 5800 xpressmusic connectivity

earlier on in the day my phone froze then proceded to beep for some reason. i switched my phone off & when i switched back on everything had reset. i now no longer have a wlan option in my connectivity menu at all. this is driving me nuts as to why its not there......... any help would be grately appreciated
