i bought the n97 from the compagny of nokia phones in lebanon but the problem is made in china and also writting made by nokia made in  china the black i didd see somme reviews in internet and unboxing and they were made in finland is it a problem or not and plus why thx

No it is not a problem. It is a handset of the exact same quality of a handset made in Finland and is 100% genuine Nokia even if it is made in China as opposed to Finland. :smileyhappy:

As metalfan said, the fact that your Nokia handset is made in China is not a problem.

Nokia has maufacturing plants in various places around the world. Most of Asia and the Middle-East is supplied by the factory in China, although depending on local demand, you might also get a handset manufactured in Hungary or even Finland.

Regardless of the Nokia plant where a handset was manufactured, it will be assembled using the same components and the same processes.

The only reason China has a bad reputation is because that's where most of the counterfeit Nokia phones (ie. phones that are not manufactured by Nokia) come from.
