i m facing problm of display......
When m playing vid of Tron movie trailor the the display screen looking bad.. When their is some dark part in vid i am seeing the blur and many white dots i think its amold screen glitch.....
If u type n8 diplay problem in youtube u can understand my problem ......
Plssss help me i baught this phoe last day if u help me and if it is a real problm then i can replace my phone....

hi i think what you are seeing is the grid in the screen thats is the sensors fore the tuch screen,after what i have read it is only possible to see this when screen is black and when the room you are in is dark.

It's just hard to see what you're talking about.  You're recording with a device that isn't exactly stellar in itself, and there will be a bit of skew from that alone.  I can stick my N8 up next to the Youtube video that you made, and all I see is everything your recording device is doing to the image as you try to show whatever it is the phone is doing.

The problem while playing videos with dark scenes (example Tron trailer) it's from the purple tint issue that's affecting some N8 display. It's the analog clock screensaver half purple/red, half black when you hit the menu button? If it is then your display is affected by red/purple tint issue. My N8 also has the same problem.

i was gowing to buy n8 but since i saw this problem. i ahve to forget about it. but why is the mobile like that. its nokia problem to  check if the mobile is good enough or not.  and is the mobile problem solved or not
