Re: n gage let down :-(

ngage was always destined to be **bleep**.

They should have left it in the past where it belongs.

Re: n gage let down :-(

What i think people need to remember is, this first access n-gage release is a pre-release version, also first access is only available for N81 and N81 8GB users , i think the reson for this is so they can iron out most of the bugs before the final worldwide release, at which point i think more and better games will be available.

@viper, i must agree, the Asphalt3 demo is very good.

I have it running on my N95.

The game demos are quite good (sadly I am quite addicted to the fishing!!!)

I'll stick to my DS, PSP, 360, PS3 or PC before touching ngage again. :smileyvery-happy:

Re: n gage let down :-(

My main concern about ngage is the phones navi-keys. Are they strudy enough for gaming?

My mate broke his N70's navi key by playing games on it for a few months.

i second that concern. i don't want to break the joystick on my n73 playing games, especially a fighting game or the upcoming star wars game.

The only exception, i think, will be the d-pad on the N81/N81 8GB, these d-pads are very robust, infact i have never seen or felt a more robust d-pad on any phone, very strong indeed.

Re: n gage let down :-(

But folks, the N73 was released when joystick was ruling out. Now Nokia release phones with five way dpad etc. The joystick of N73 had shocked me cause it remind me my dad's SE K750i's joystick quality-lousyness etc.

Re: n gage let down :-(

i remember reading reviews about the n73's joystick and saying it was pathetic which had me thinking twice bout purchasing it. but i have it for 6 months now and i have no complaints about it. the dpads are nice, liked the one on my 6233, but the n73's joystick isn't half bad, i think people expect to much from a phone and end up being disappointed and thereby write bad reviews.
