Hi there.
After upgrading my N95 to the new version (31.0.017), music player max volume significantly lowered. And sound quality has become worse than it used to be. It looks Nokia is following the related regulations with this upgrade.
This is really annoying because i cannot listen to my favorite mp3s while walking on a crowded street, volume is too low to hear.
While following the regulations about heathcare, NOKIA, MUST also consider the customers with hearing disabilities like me !
Is there a way to boost the music player volume again using a software or something? or,
Does anyone know to downgrade phone software to the previous version?
Regards.

You could try a hard reset but you must back up everything you want to keep before you do it.
Hard reset:
1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
4. Release when the phone shows the nokia logo or shows other signs of life like the language selction screen
If i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.
