I really hope someone can help me with this problem:

I am a proud owner of an Nokia N97 but since a week i am not able to acces my mein menu. I've tried using different routes to acces the menu but everutime my mainscrean hangs for a second or 5 and then gives me this note: menu:  system error -25. after that i am back at my mainscreen.  Even some of the shortcuts i had manualy installed are'nt accesable. the only opplications i can now acces are: messages, phonebook and my camera (only if i open the cam).

I hope that someone can help me. i didn't install applications and have the latest update so i don't know what i'm suppossed to try now.

I couldn't access menu on N97 I had (returned for other reasons), fault occurred not long after first boot, fixed it with *#7780# factory reset. If that doesn't help you may need to try *#7370# soft reset, phone has UDP which should preserve user data, but back up phone memory anyway just in case. Default code for resets is 12345.

I try to avoid recommending resets if poss, but in this case it worked for me, and these are the most straightforward options for now.
