i've recently updated to firmware 30. i'm facing 2 major issues in this firmware:

1. i'm not able to disable the lock code (after goin to settings>phone>security>phone and sim card>phone autolock period

i try to set it to none, and it displays the phone cannot be unlocked)

2. The signal connectivity has become vry poor..my room used to have a vry good connectivity and after this update suddenly it has become really pooor

someone plz help...its really getting irritating

or suggest me how to go bak to the previous firmware

You cannot go back to a previous firmware. However the first thing you should do right now is to do a hard reset. v30 recommends doing a hard reset after updating to get the email on screen. It will not appear before you do that, so since you'll be doing it anyway, no point in suggesting another method.

 First back up all your data into PC Suite/Ovi Suite, then disconnect the phone and turn it off. Hold the green, red and camera keys as you power up the phone until you reach the country selection prompt. Select your country and restore your data.

This would solve almost all issues as it will blank your phone of everything inside it except the firmware. That includes all applications, contacts, messages, settings, etc. Everything. All will be reverted to factory settings as well.
