Sorry new to the forum hope i manged to put it right.I tried to edit the post.

I now have Nokia maps 9mb and Ovi maps 7mb installed can i uninstall Ovi maps or do i need both of them.

yes you need both , but you can remove share location, which will get you about 3meg back !

glad you got sorted im still no further on,the sms to my phone doesnt work,iv deleted the maps,i dont know how to delete liscence so havent done that,maybe if i can figure that and try again with sms?

You don't need to delete licences, as new maps won't require one, as for sms if they aren't working contact your service provider and they should be able to send you the correct settings. Do you have Ovi suite and Nokia spoftware updater on your ccomputer ?

i can get sms but the link nokia send me doesnt work,i give up now
