Re: how to turm off the camera sound of nokia N82

I believe that it is a legal requirement in some countries for the camera to make a sound, so there will be no option on phones sold in those countries to switch off the sound.  I suppose it's the nanny state trying to avoid people taking photos of people when they are unaware of it.

Afraid I don't know about Ccam, but my guess is that, if you're in a country where the phone camera has to make a sound, it might well be illegal to use software to override that.

The only way to make the camera silent is to edit your current profile's settings(warning tones; off), or just choose the "silent "profile.

I'll have to try that on my 5800, if I ever get it back, but I thought that it was not possible to turn off the camera sounds, at least here in Canada.
