I have a 5230

From Menu/Settings/Phone/Phone mgmt./Auto.keyguard I set autokeyguard on

I now want to set the autokeyguard off but only seem to be able to set it to none or enter a time before the autokeyguard kicks in.

When I set it to none, the autokeyguard still kicks in

Any help would be appreciated

there is a keypad lock on the side of the phone which enables you to lock and unlock as you please

I found the keylock on the side of the phone only after I had set the autokeyguard on. I now want to set the autokeyguard off so that I can then just use the keylock on the side of the phone.

Your sugestion was what I tried but the phone still goes into autolock and I have to enter the password to unlock the phone.
