At the moment my N97 telephone gets locked after a specific amount of time. Then I press the unlock code and it works.

I would like to know if there is a way to immediately lock the phone without waiting for 5 minutes

Hi, simply slide the lock/unlock slider on the right hand side. Also you can go into Menu(silver button)/settings/phone/phone management/slide settings and  turn auto lock on or off !

kudos to you. except, you are holding your phone upside down. slider is on the left lol.

If you refer to locking the phone so it requires a security code to unlock (not just a key lock) you can press the power button to pop up a menu then select lock phone..

After that you'll need to enter the security code to unlock the device

hi,

with the security code lock, my lock option has gone from the menu.

when i press to power button once to select the option to lock the phone, that option is not there, there are just profile options, mem card removal, switch off and key and screen lock.

PLZ help me get it back
