how to install stubborn apps.

i am trying to install the new rotate me app. for the n95 accellerometer but there is always an annoying error.(certificate error, contact application supplier)

i tried everything,

1. i tried putting the date back

2. i tried turning online certificate check off and putting install all files (including unsigned)

3. i tried using a signed app. but other errors come up, ( unable to install a protected application from an untrusted user)

4. i tried signing the app myself but was unseccessful as i need an account with symbian signed which i cannot achieve with a public email address.

can anyone tell me how to install this application.

Re: how to install stubborn apps.

What firmware have you got on phone? N95-1 had auto rotate added with v30 (I think). Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Personalisation>Display>Rotate screen.

Re: how to install stubborn apps.

why are you trying to intall it anyway? its part of the latest firmware. is your phone network branded and they are preventing you from updating?
