iv had my n97 bout 4month and got to say at 1st its was ok till i updated it and since then iv had loads of probs with it my battery wont hold charge it keeps crashing keeps turnin off hmmm what else lol

but jst last night my phone lock (the slider on the side) will no work iv tried everything i need it to be unllock so i can text my boss any ideas people HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried pulling the battery out the switching back on again?

That solved it for me when it happened once after using the data cable.

Then all I can suggest is that you hard reset the phone to rule out a hardware issue.  Hard resetting will wipe all data and apps that you've added.

If that doesn't solve it then it's a hardware issue.  Take it to a nokia care point for repair (use the "find a store" or "contact us" links near the top of the page).

its worked na lol thanks dude any ideas bout the chargin problem it won hold charge via the charger but will via the data cable

Faulty charger? That would be my guess if the data cable charges it and the charger doesn't.
