v21 is not in the UK yet.
It's just a matter of being patient and keep checking.

Come on O2/UK nokia, this phone is doing my head in.......
I have a red unbranded 5800 bought thru the CPW on O2 and NSU is now letting me update to the new v21 firmware. It's maybe not released thru OTA yet?

NSU update is about 133MB and took only 5 minutes to install. Phone seems happy.
I know people complain about the amount of time between firmware updates, but I would rather companies took their time crafting properly working firmware and software. Too many slap things together and let the general public have 'fun' with poor updates.
This is my first Nokia phone in over 4 years and after two firmware updates I have to say I am impressed with the quality of the service and software so far. (fingers crossed as i type that one)

Sorry if this sounds be stupid but what do you mean when you talk about OTA and NSU?

Not a stupid question at all...
OTA is short for Over The Air where the phone itself contacts the Nokia servers, looks for a firmware update and installs one if found. All this without being connected to a computer.
NSU is short for Nokia Software Updater. This software runs on your PC and, while your phone is connected using the USB cable, looks online for a new software update and installs any it finds.
Hope this helps.

Each phone has it's own sort of 'batch' number and it might be that 5800's in your 'batch' haven't had the firmware approved for them yet.
Is your phone from O2/carphonewarehouse and Red?
What homescreen problem do you have? Maybe we can help?

ive just uploaded my firmware from v10 to the v21, as i had an email saying the firmware was available.
i uploaded it no problem, then once it was done, the phone was off, and i closed the NSU, now the phone wont switch on, when i press the power button, an the screen lights up [like a dark backlight], but nothing happens, does anyone have an idea? not impressed!
