Hi there just a quick bug with my phone. just recently whenever i turn my phone on a box comes up and my screen goes grey and it says ERROR IN SELECTED STANDBY THEME

anyone got any idea on how to get rid of this. I get the feeling i may have changed something in my settings but cant think what

Try another theme and see if the problem persists.

Theme settings should just change the settings and not cause an error. More likely reason is file corruption.

changed my theme restarted phone and same message came up. I dont think it is to do with the theme itself it says stanbye theme is the problem

That's what I mean, to change the standby theme. You should have 3 theme options, Horizontal, Basic and Vertical.

If you think it is settings related your could try the *#7780# - Restore factory settings.

The only way I can think of to reinstall the standby theme is to do a reset, the *#7370#.

Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.

ok so i have changed my standbye theme and it is now working. Very strange... thanks

Well, looks like you have some corrupted files. If you are happy enough to stick with the one you are using now then perhaps you should leave it alone. If you wish to change it back to the original then you may have to reset or reinstall the firmware to replace the corrupted files.
