Does anybody have a link for this App?

I have tried googleing it but all the one's i have downloaded, once installed say that the App is not compatibale with my handset.

Any N97 owners have a link to one that is compatible with the N97?

You should consider using x-plore instead because it's much better than y-browser.  If you choose not to pay for it you will not lose any functionality. All you will get is a three second splash screen every time you use it.

When i come to install it it comes up on the phone screen. Application not compatible, Continue anyway?

Yes, just ignore the warning.

The warning is because the app is not fully optimised for S60v5 but does still work.  It's an ok app but not on the same level as x-plore which is fully compatible now.

Ok got x-plore, but it comes in a zip folder. Do i extract the various items?

 How do i install?

Inside the zip you will see a file called "which", reading this will tell you which file to use.

Extract the correct file to your computers desktop, then install it like you do with any other app either by cable, bluetooth or PC/Ovi suite.

Can this application be used to free pjone memory or simply monitor?

It works just like the file manager does on a computer so you are free to delete any unprotected files to free up space.

Don't forget to go into the settings in x-plore and enable the ability to show hidden files and folders. Also think before you delete as once things are gone they cannot be recovered.

Some files are still hidden away even to x-plore as the OS considers these to be protected.  Using x-plore when i was on v12 I was able to get my phone memory back to 40-45mb.  This was deleting everything that I felt was safe to do so and could access.

After v20 and a hard reset my memory jumped up to 60mb.
