Worldmate on N8

Having been using Worldmate on my E66, I thought it would be good to download and use on my new N8.

Installation appeared fine, but on running it, a Privacy Agreement page comes up, referring to Accept or Decline, but no buttons to do so.

Stymied!

How do I progress from here?

Re: Worldmate on N8

I found that a bluetooth or usb keyboard allows you to get past this.

That agreement prompt is controlled by the softkeys which are not visible or touchable. by connecting a usb keyboard, the left Windows key acts as the left soft key and the right submenu key (between alt and crtl) acts as the right soft key.

Once I got past the prompt, I was able to get to the main menu and register and Worldmate seems to work. However, there are other areas that make it unusable on the N8.

Initially, the section of the main screen that spins the icons is totally white. Once you touch it, the icons appear.

The real problem comes after you enter a flight. When you click on it to see its status, you have the exact same problem as the agreement prompt where the soft keys are covered. You can see the flight status but you cannot get back to the main screen without a keyboard.

So unless you want to carry a keyboard around just to use this application, its just not good enough.

I contacted Worldmate some time ago and they told me they currently have no plans to support the N8. Shame. I'm a Gold subscriber...

Anyone know of a good alternative application for travel management? I've tried a few but just don't care for them. I like how Worldmate fills in all the blanks. I.e., just enter the flight number and the rest is downloaded.
