I wonder why and what Nokia does not release phones with a touch like the Apple iPhone? is it lack of material? or why and shortage of engineers? plz somebody answer me.

If you think Nokia are more liklely to know the answers than your fellow phone users on this users forum  ask Nokia  .

Could be that they dont want to go down a particular sales route competing like for like with Apple .

Until recently Nokia's phones have used resistive touchscreens, because of the important Asian market where stylus input is essential. That's a technology that only recently got multi-touch. They've moved onto capacitive touchscreens, which support multi-touch, and with software support appearing in S^3, upcoming touch devices are likely to support multi-touch.
