Whats wrong with N82? Why is it discontinued? Theres no problem in it. Also it was considered as the best phone in 5MP camera and a good phone in NSeries. Why is nokia doing this? Also new firmware might not be released i guess by reading the forum. Also V31 has major bug of alarm. They should and must develop a good firmware. They can't let make users use bugs phone!

Have you got an official link that says it's been discontinued? It has recently disappeared in error from some nokia sites if that is what has lead you to believe it's discontinued.

The phone is no longer on sale in some countries but only because it didn't sell very well in those specific countries.  In countries where sales are/were high it may still be available.

Even though the N82 was a true great it didn't sell anywhere near as well as the N95 or N73 did.

As for future firmware updates that is anyones guess.  Other models like the N93/N93i/N76 were abandoned fairly early without any further updates whilst they still had many bugs.  The N82 may see one final update or it may not, only time will tell.

Ok thanks and no i haven't got any official link but here in discussions many users concluded. So i was clearing my doubts. Well time never waits but we'll have to wait for future updates if nokia realises it!

Sad to hear that N82 sales never went as the N95 which in my opinion is a waste of money. Well, it came out before the N82, may be thats why! I still hope for one last update for the N82 which Nokia should release to remove those bugs!!
