Hi Folks,

From the sources that I had gathered, we have the following BT problems on N80:
1. 617 introduced a BT fix to preserve batt life, or so it was claimed. But this fix actually caused N80 to have a problem maintaining long running BT connections in some cases, or so it seems.
2. 623 or V4 introduced another BT fix to fix the problem above, or so it seems.

Personally, I don't have a problem with BT, so all the information gathered are really from this Forum and via google.

But there had been some feedbacks within this Forum that suggest that 623 firmware actually appears to resolve connection issues with Route66, another GPS app.

So like some folks before me, I would think that it is a good idea to up the firmware, if possible.
