Waiting Notification on Nokia n97 VF Doesn't Show Up On My Screen!

Hi,
I'm wondering why the waiting notification doesn't appear on the  screen of my Nokia n97 Vodafone when I call someone who is actually on call with somebody else as it exist on all the Nokia's mobile I've had owned before. Is it a Vodafone restriction on what?
