HELLO. my nokia 5800 has Wlan problems..i have a 512 kbps connection which makes it possible fr data to download at 60 kb/s ... my phone in Wlan mode is havin speeds rangin from 0-40/50 kb/s. this makes it impossible for me to watch YOUTUBE videos... my laptop gives a speed of 60 kb/s then y not my phone. wts the use of WLAN this way ??? WLAN on phone is too slow.. i have v50 and have taken it to a NOKIA CARE but of no use. help me out.

Encrypting and decrypting may cause the slowdown. Use WEP, it's less taxing. WPA is much safer though. WEP is very easy to crack.
And it also depends on strength of the signal.
