I ORDERED MY N900 THROUGH AMAZON A FEW WEEKS AGO.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHEN THEY ARE BEING SENT OUT, I AM IN THE UK

10th of November was the last rumour I heard for those that ordered direct from nokia.

Obviously with ordering from Amazon they are the only people that can give you an exact answer.

Nokia Flagship UK  tweeted earlier that they have a few N900 under the counter I take it it will be releasing soon.

Wow how did you manage that? It's listed as preorder and when I click on order am getting a "phone not available" pop up message.

They're a bit cagey about release dates in the Nokia flagship store in London.. I got the impression they kind of did know.. but weren't really allowed to say

Had a play with their N900 unit.. Was very nice.. bum note is that it doesn't support Line-2/ALS and apparently there are no plans to support it either which rules it out as my main handset.. pitty.. 

They one in the shop didn't have a SIM in it.. they were just using wifi.. which is good.. since I need a phone with Line-2 support..  Couldn't prove that it would bluetooth tether to another phone (like the N810/N800/770 do)

On a side note.. opened the file manager on a store N97 and N97 mini.. maaan was I irritated to see the difference!

Wow they got it so soooo wrong with the original N97.. Maybe there'll be a second edition N97 (like N95-8g) that'll fix that problem.. None of the store N97 were running v2 either, which I thought was a bit odd..

I pre-ordered my N900 from the store.. I live locally so save on postage plus they may start selling it earlier than mail/online orders and I can pick it up on my way to work

Looking forward to upgrading my N810, even if I can't use it as a phone..
